Tuesday, October 30, 2018

PITTSBURGH (Air1 News) – After the deadly attack on a synagogue worship service, which took the lives of 11 people and injured six more – including police officers, a sports team is expressing solidarity with the Jewish community.

The Pittsburgh Penguins tweeted a logo that incorporates the Star of David and uses the words, “Stronger Than Hate.” Team members will wear these patches on their jerseys for tonight’s game against the New York Islanders.

Hatred and discrimination have no place in Pittsburgh or anywhere else.
